Printing can be done from your own computer and any embellishments can be chosen from the hundreds that any craft store carries. From the specialized papers to ribbons and bows to charms, stickers, and stamps, personalize your invitations as you wish.

As for wording, look at wedding invitation samples for inspiration. Even if using your own wording, such as a personal quote, the presentation of the request can still follow standard wedding etiquette. And while handmade invitations invite creativity on the part of the designer, make sure to not overdo the font or design, as the main purpose of an invitation is still to request the presence of someone.
